hey guys, I really don't have any idea how or if the Street Team will be a happening thing ...

Xavier's wave is certainly in tidal proportions in most places and shows are selling out before posters even get put out.

I promise if I find out anything, I'll keep the forum Street Teamers in touch.

But thanks so much for your passion!!! Xavier so deeply appreciates the energy from everyone who connects with his music SO MUCH.

Before the Feb. 4th show I had contacted Xav's management offering my Street Team services for that show. Via e-mail I was asked for my home addie and to expect posters to post. Well they are swamped with other duties. They never came. I took it upon myself to make my own posters and go crazy that way. It was relatively easy as I have a friend who has access to a print shop. I ended up posting about 150-200 posters a couple of weeks before the gig. I hope that it had an impact but hard to say, as I wanted to have them up like a month before rather then two weeks.

Oh well

Peace

I got an email back from this cool guy named Jason from Thompson Artist Management. He is sending some posters to put up and also threw on the guest like for the Baltimore show. I couldn't believe it. Alex Blue thank you for making that post with street team email. I hope you all get the same opportunity.

Peace

That's funny.
Jason is my uncle!
I'll have to tell him you said that!
But I'm going to askl my aunt and uncle if they want me to join the street team.

Hey there Akamie,

Things may have changed slightly since the White Moth tour.

I'll see if I can find out if the Street Team thing will be happening for the next tour, and if so I will post here in this board.

I had a whole team organised for venues on the Australian tour last year, but the majority of the "work" was done by the promoter (and as far as I could see in most places (and I did 9 of the shows), all they did was send posters to the actual venue and a couple of record stores.

Ticket sales for the actual concerts also has a lot to do with it. If ticket sales are strong and it looks like the concert will be sold out, they are less likely to spend the extra money and time on sending extra posters out.

But thanks for bringing the issue up to the front again - I'll see what I can suss out.

Cheers!
Alex
